"Please include my own testimonial in your testimonial section. I started using blue after my boyfriend became a pet food representative for the company. The valuable nutritional information he learned through his job inspired me to research pet nutrition myself, and I was horrified to learn that I was feeding my pets the fast food of the dog world. I quickly switched my old German shepherd Brigitta to BLUE. She died some months later of old age, but I had never seen her coat as vibrant as it had been before her departure. She didn't bite her paws anymore either! A few months after she died, our family adopted a senior German shepherd mix from the animal shelter and named him Magellan. His coat was dry and flakey. They had been feeding him a different brand, and I suspected that he may have had a food allergy. "Hi! I do know *exactly* what is in my dog Rose's food. Why? Because I make her food myself using quality cuts of meat mixed with whole grains and vegetables. Never any corn or wheat because my dog is allergic to them. Yesterday I was at the pet store in Roseville, MI with Rose looking for treats made with quality ingredients to add a little variety to her diet and I met a representative for your company. "We have a wonderful 8 yr old, 60 lb mixed breed dog named Abby. She has always had fall allergies. But about 3 yrs ago, they were so intense that she ran from herself to hide from the itching. We had taken her to a Vet and over the next year and a half, spent almost 3000.00 in Vet bills. (For tests, Meds, etc.) All spent with no relief for Abby. Her itching was so bad she was sitting in the gravel driveway and scooting and spinning. She, over that year and half, had worn off all of her hair on her backside, back legs and tail. "I tried your food after seeing it in the pet store on display. It wasn't featured or anything, but I'd been looking for something that I considered a good healthy food that fit within my budget. Your packages explained the food quite well, so I bought a small bag and brought it home. Cali is far from a picky eater, but she absolutely adores your food. She has repeatedly turned down her former favorite canned foods, demanding her dry food be replenished instead. (I don't keep her bowl full when I am home because I also have dogs who are absolute PIGS about eating Cali's food.) Cali now has me trained, if she is repeatedly insisting on my attention towards her feeding area, it's not because she wants some canned food, it's because she wants more dry! "After an apparently traumatic experience with dog-sitting our neighbor's pup, our 12-year-old cat, Ariel, seemed to be losing her health. She was licking off her fur (vet said it was a nervous habit developed), losing weight, sleeping a LOT, and had developed an allergy to the sun. A shot of cortisone seemed to help temporarily but a few months later she acquired a chronic infection in her paw that ended up requiring surgery. A few months after surgery we found Blue Buffalo cat food and decided to give it to her. Within 6 weeks her fur had re-grown into a lush, silky coat and Ariel's energy level was back to what it was when she was a much younger kitty. We found her lounging in the branches of the magnolia tree! Coincidentally, Ariel's (human) mama was diagnosed with an auto-immune disorder around this same time, and in addition to other therapies, fish oil was recommended as a preventative measure. We noticed that cold-water fish and fish oil was a predominant ingredient in Ariel's Blue Buffalo food! Hopefully it is as effective on mama as it is on kitty!"

"A few months ago, I received two female Maine coon, calico which I had placed about five years ago. As a breeder my contract stated if for any reason, they could not keep them, they were to be returned to myself. Well the woman came down with cancer. About May I called her, because she was worried about the cats. Her Husband stated after she died, he was going take the cat to the shelter. So now I have them. About the middle of September, the one females became ill, According to the vet, she had a fatty liver tissue. She had a feeding tube inserted, and had to be fed some AD mixed with milk thistle along with Ursodial, and Clavamox.. She started to recover, when her litter sister came down with the same thing and went through the same treatment. We found out after that they were fed the Iams that was recalled. After several treatments, we are cutting out the AS. In fact both females like the Blue Spa canned, Chicken, Tuna and Salmon Entrees. The second female pulled her feeding tube out Friday, Both now demand the feeding of your can food about every two hours, the vets are amazed, at the recovery. Your food is the best. We have been feeding the dry cat food, and the dry dog food to our other animal. They love it!"

"I was introduced to your product at my local pet store in Fairfax VA. I was about to buy my original brand of food. Since the store was not permitted to sell this brand without a prescription from my veterinarian I needed to find something comparable and more cost effective. My primary concern was my cat Ana who has been diagnosed with IBS. Before starting her on your product nothing could control her symptoms. Well you kind salesperson talked to me about Blue Spa Select and I was willing to give it a try. Instant success, Ana has shown no symptoms of recurring IBS, all of my other cats love your product and it is much easier on "Mom's" pocket book as well. We are now into our third large bag and all is well. The cats and I are so grateful and happy that we were able to find food that would satisfy all. All of the cats are indoor cats, and two are overweight, but with controlled portions I do believe that even Zach and Timothy will improve loosing some of their weight. Once again I praise you for creating this product, not only is it the healthiest on the market, it is well suited for the entire pride that allows their mother and father, that would be the humans that live in the house, to continue to live here. "I just wanted to drop you all a line to say a HUGE thank you for your product. When we first got our great dane, he had very loose stools all the time. His coat wasn't the greatest, nor was he putting on any weight. One day I saw an advertisement for Blue and was skeptical, but none the less after visiting your website I decided to look for myself. The next day I was in PetSmart and carrying around a small bag of Blue adult formula for large breed dogs on my arm as I compared that bag to EVERY bag of dog food in the store. "A few months ago, we adopted a Great Pyrenees puppy. From the time we brought her home, she would just pick at her food and wasn't gaining weight like she should. "I just wanted to give you some product feedback. I live alone - with 5 beagles, I have tried most every brand out there. I went into a local petsmart - and you folks had a table there with someone handing out coupons. I bought a small bag - dogs loved it - I loved what I read on the package. One of the Dogs recently had a really bad allergic reaction - tried every food available - I ended up hand feeding him a raw diet until he was able to eat regular food again. Putting him back on the same old food (Nutro - Max - the natural one) - he started to relapse - quit eating. To this day he will only eat dry Blue (he will actually leave a whole bowl full of the other food untouched - dogs know things...) and some canned foods. As I learned about his issues and what dog food generally has in it and seeing some allergic issues in the other dogs (maybe the wheat I guess?) I switched over to just blue. In the long run it is the cheapest prevention I can buy. And the dogs like it too. So thanks - just wanted to let you know the table crusades definitely work. thanks for the great product - please keep it up - and why not offer an Organic line of foods in the future - I don't eat non-organics - like you say I really want to feed the dogs the same way. "When our vet said we had to start our German Shepherd, on shots for allergies that were making his life a misery, we were so upset. We couldn't afford the constant expense! In desperation we researched, and found many common allergies are caused by ingredients in what we thought was high-end food (one on your "comparisons" list). We compared and switched him to Blue Buffalo for Large breeds, and in about a week he was obviously feeling much better. In a month his skin was no longer red and his fur was growing back in thick and shiny. In three months he was back to his old happy self, with no medicine except the great nutrition in Blue Buffalo. And judging by how fast his bowl is empty, he really likes the taste! We have since switched all our animals (another dog and 2 cats) to Blue, and they are all fantastic!. "My dog and I want to thank you so much. You saved his life. My Dog is an 11 year old Siberian Husky who has always had some problems with digestion. In the last 2 years, his diarrhea had been so bad and constant, that the vet advised putting him to sleep. He was unable to digest or get any benefit from his food. I was cooking ground lamb and brown rice for him every day for over 3 years, but still his weight had slipped to under 30 lbs and he was always lethargic and sad. I found your website and started adding your fish and potato diet to his food and I cannot believe the change in this old guy! He is now on your food and the brown rice and he is doing wonderfully.
