"My dog Buzz was constantly scratching. His skin was always red and itchy. After many meds and trips to not one but 2 different vets, he was diagnosed with a food allergy. "My dog Rocky who is a brindle boxer has had trouble with his stomach for the last 3 years. I have tried every premium food out there. About 8 months ago he was so sick that we had to bring him to the Vet. We went through blood tests, scans to find out he had a sensitive digestive system. "Last year, I had started myself on a long-seeming-to-never-end search for a new dog foodƒ. One of my Boxers, whose name is Izzy, just didn't want to eat. There was nothing wrong with her, she just never had a liking for it and would only nibble at a few kibbles. She progressively got worse, ending up eating nothing at all no matter what we tried and the very real threat of mal-nutrition loomed. So I went on a crazy search for a food she would eat that I liked to give her. I found Blue! Try as I might, I only found one thing in the ingredients I could use as an excuse not to feed Blue. One e-mail later, and there's a shell-shocked me – you'd already gotten rid of the ingredient. We picked some up and when I opened it up I decided if Izzy didn't approve I would eat it. "Hi, I emailed you about 6 weeks ago just before purchasing your food for my dogs. My 1 yr. old GSD was suffering from his 3 violent bouts of colitis and, after much research, I felt like his food was the source of the problem. "I cannot thank you enough for this terrific cat food. My friend Pooh is 15 years old and I swear he looks like he is getting younger each day. That wasn't always the story, he came to live with me after he was taken away from a family who beat him badly, that was 13 years ago. For a long time I struggled to find a food that he would eat, he really preferred plain cooked chicken breast, rice and green beans but a vet admonished me for letting him eat "people food" and there the trouble began. He wouldn't even go near the bag of food and I gave in and cooked for him adding this-n-that for nutrition sake. When I had children though I had to stop and Pooh's then vet had me start him on another food; lo and behold, he ate it. It made him sick. I didn't realize it was the food at first but it became obvious that there was a problem when he began to lose his hair and would throw up the undigested food each time he ate more than a few pieces. Being a shy gentlemanly cat to start the loss of his hair really hurt his pride and he began to hide all the time and I think generally felt bad about himself. I began cooking for him again and slowly his hair began to fill in with the exception of his tail and a few patches here and there. My girls liked the bag design, thought it was a "cool looking bag" and we already fed our dogs Blue, I just hadn't bought cat food in so long I didn't know Blue made food for cats. We bought the bag of Indoor Formula Cat food and brought it home. Pooh loves it! I have to keep the bag of food completely out of his range or he will shred the bag to get to the food just for a few extra bites. I swear he looks and acts younger everyday, almost as if Blue has rolled back the clock on his aging. For that I am forever grateful, I cannot thank you enough for this wonderful food!"

"We had always used what we thought was good food for our dogs and never had many intestinal problems with them until we got our newest dog, a purebred Sheltie. The shelter where we adopted Buster recommended a certain food and we got that one for both of the dogs. Buster had problems almost immediately with vomiting, loose stools, etc, and our vet suggested we change food. We did, but some problems remained. After the recall, I investigated a whole range of pet foods and tried BLUE. Both dogs have flourished on the food, and our oldest dog, a Sheltie mix, is doing extremely well since we've changed. "My dog, Hooah, a 3 year old Border Collie and I volunteer our time and services to the Montgomery County Tennessee Sheriff's Department K-9 Search and Rescue Team. We train as a group every Sunday afternoon and most evenings will find Hooah and I training at home. I have had Hooah since he was 8 weeks old and because he's a blue and white Border Collie he just didn't have the glossy coat the black and whites do...that is until I tried Blue Buffalo dog food. "As a breeder, I will strongly re-enforce the importance of good nutrition, and I have seen firsthand how excellent BLUE is when I rescued a Great Dane puppy, about 5 months old who was malnourished in horrific condition. All the Great Dane websites recommended a different brand of food, along with their powders, which I tried for 2 months and it didn't help. It did cause severe diarrhea and stomach upset. Once I found BLUE, and put my Dane on BLUE, he flourished...his immune system became strong enough to fight off the mites he had; the mites that no antibiotic could get rid of. All of his hair grew back in the spots he was missing, his skin cleared up from all the "pimples", and he is now a healthy one year old without any signs of abuse or neglect. His coat shines beautifully, and he has more energy than any other Great Dane I've seen....he outruns all my Chihuahua's every day!! Keep up the good work BLUE!!"

"Chloe, our lhasa is our whole world. When the dog food scare began, we wasted no time in finding a natural food that she would eat. I went online and found Blue Buffalo Co. I like what I read about the product, and found a store nearest to us. We bought the large bag of Fish and Sweet Potato Formula. Chloe took to it right away, pushing the old food aside and eating the BLUE! When we returned to the store, they said that they had stopped carrying BLUE, but recommended another product that they said she would also like. Chloe did NOT like it. Thinking that she needed more time to adjust, we continued to fill her dish. She would just stare at it, and only eat when she got very hungry. That was enough for us. We traveled clear across the city to a store that carried BLUE. When we returned home, we put the other food in a big bag, and as we were pouring the BLUE into a container, some fell onto the floor. Chloe ate it up without hesitation! The very first time we bought the BLUE, we noticed a different Chloe...she was playful, happy, and healthy. On this other product, she would have trouble with her bowels (not going regularly as before), and not as active. We cannot tell you how happy we are that we found BLUE! "I have been using your Adult Formula Lamb and Brown Rice for dogs for six months now. Previously I had been using a different Adult Formula Lamb and Rice for dogs. I have an Italian Greyhound and a Pomeranian. My Italian Greyhound always had sparse hair on his back and was almost hairless! I thought that was just the way that he was! I used their puppy food too! My Pomeranian always had issues with her eyes running. Also they were beginning to become over weight even with regular walks in the Adirondacks. After I switched to your food my Italian Greyhound's coat turned so thick and shiny it was unbelievable! My Pomeranian eyes do not run anymore it is really crazy. The weight issues regulated themselves and at their annual visit the vet said that they were at their prime weight; I never though that these issues had anything to do with the food that I had been feeding them. I felt so terrible that it was my fault that they had experienced these issues so long by my own hand. I am upset because I thought that the food that I was feeding them was a Quality food I was obviously wrong when I found your food. I came across your food when all of the recalls started and our area acquired a local pet store. I was reading the labels and your ingredients are by far the best I have come across -- Good Job!!"

"We wish to confirm our appreciation for Blue Buffalo Company's insistence on the highest quality standards. Our CURLY-COATED RETRIEVER, HERSHEY, is a very healthy dog because of the high quality of Blue Buffalo food. Hershey is a 'liver' color CURLY and has a genetic defect which causes his curly coat to be brittle and break-off short on a large area of his body. With Blue Buffalo food, however, we noticed a return of over half the hair particularly on his belly, tail and elbows. Also, his scratching and itch seems to have all but disappeared! We wouldn't substitute his food with any other product and look forward to the return of canned 'wet food' (which he simply loves)."

"I just want to say thank you for making such a great pet food! My cat, Myra, has very fluffy and downy fur, the kind of fur that typically gets left all over the place! Visitors always seem expect to see hair all over my house or on their clothes after they pick her up, but she simply does not shed! I can literally wear a black t-shirt, pick her up and cuddle her, and when I put her down, there is NO hair on my shirt. Her fur is bouncy, shiny, and incredibly soft. She is a year-and-a-half old and has never had even a minor health problem, and even though she has very long hair, she very rarely has a problem with hairballs. "Hi, I read about your product in a magazine then went on-line to your site. I was feeding my 5 Cavalier's a different food which I loved but if you run low before your shipments gets to you, you can't find it anywhere local. So I went and bought another brand and it is so pricey; but I want the best for my babies. After reading about Blue we decided to try it well you know how they tell you to mix the 2 foods over 2 weeks to do the switch well our babies are picking the Blue out and are eating only that and it has been only 3 days!
